This comprehensive all-day session is a benchmark for certifying crematory operators, and addressing legal, ethical, and practical considerations of cremation. It covers the history of cremation, the science behind combustion, and the anatomy of modern  cremators. The session also outlines procedures for ID and chain of custody, how to effectively and cremate various case types, caskets, and cremation containers, while emphasizing safety and environmental concerns. Furthermore, the curriculum details crematory law, and ethical responsibilities, stressing the importance of proper identification, handling remains with respect, and adhering to regulations.

The final 2 hours of the session is approved for the KS required 2 hours Cremation CE! Topics included in this presentation are the properhandling of dead bodies in the crematory; cremation and  the environment; and proper operations, conditions and maintenance of a crematory.
